MOSCOW, Apr 22 (PRIME) -- The number of unemployed in Russia has not grown since March 1, but the number of people in downtime is rising, Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova said on Friday.

"According to the figures of our latest monitoring, the number of registered unemployed does not exceed the level of March. On March 1, it amounted to 682,800 people, on April 19, it stood at 678,200 people. But we continue to see negative trends," Golikova said.

Golikova did not disclose the number of people in downtime but said that the number of companies that announced schedule changes had increased.
